Joint COST Training School and King's College London on Introduction to R, R-QTL and GeneNetwork

This course will offer a concentrated, hands-on introduction to the R statistical computing environment focussing on practical aspects of getting going on data analysis, especially for systems genetics. The R content is based on material presented in the SGDP summer school (2012) and informally since 2007, and the course will receive support from the EU COST action SYSGENET.

Fellowship Awards through the COST Action SYSGENET

The COST Action SYSGENET (BM 0901) will support the attendance of scientists from COST countries . This will not cover the full cost of attendance and awardees will still have to pay the registration fee. Interested applicants are invited to submit their application with the following required documents until August 4th, 2013 by email to Heike Bauer

. Fellowship applicants should also register online and can upload their fellowship application on the registration page. Selection will be based on academic merit and research potential. Successful candidates will receive a set amount of support for their travel expenses after the meeting and confirmed attendance.
